Zoo Marine located at the Albufeira is a mixture of zoo, marine center and amusement park. There is a fun fair for children and the most interesting part is the aquatic displays of dolphins and sea lions. If you are ready to spend some time, you can even swim with the dolphins. There seems to be two purposes for this Zoo Marine, first is Education and second is conservation.

Though it seems that Zoo Marine is concentrated mostly on the children, but it is also a good place for families to come together and enjoy. Many families come in the holiday seasons and the place becomes full with the people.

You will get to see the entertaining shows of around half an hour. The most popular shows are of dolphins, seals and sea lions. There are various areas where you can see some other animals such as flamingos, parrots, alligators, etc. There are several fun fair rides for children.
